Ran a proper benchmark on our residential proxy pool. 500 requests across 10 targets, 10 countries. Sharing the raw results.

**Setup**

- 10 residential proxies, each from a different country: US, CA, GB, BG, GR, ID, LT, MD, PL, TR
- 50 requests per target, rotating across all proxies
- Python script with requests library, 15s timeout, standard browser headers
- Every IP verified through ipinfo.io before testing

**IP quality**

All 10 IPs came back as residential. No datacenter leaks. Real ISPs:

| US | Altamonte Springs | Charter Communications
| CA | Hamilton | Bell Canada
| GB | London | Community Fibre Limited
| BG | Sofia | A1 Bulgaria EAD
| GR | Préveza | OTE SA (Hellenic Telecom)
| ID | Malang | PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia
| LT | Kaunas | Telia Lietuva
| MD | Chisinau | Moldtelecom SA
| PL | Zielona Góra | Enformatel Sp. z o.o.
| TR | Istanbul | Turk Telekomunikasyon

100% residential. No shared hosting ASNs, no cloud providers, no "residential" IPs that are actually datacenter.

Results (500 requests total)

Target | Success rate | Avg response time

----------------|-------------|------------------

Google Search | 86% | 1.59s

Amazon | 94% | 1.39s

Instagram | 100% | 1.91s

Nike | 100% | 2.03s

Cloudflare site | 98% | 1.83s

Bing Search | 100% | 1.21s

Craigslist | 100% | 6.52s

Target.com | 90% | 2.38s

Overall: 484/500 successful (97%)

Average response time: 2.26s

Nike and Instagram at 100% — both sites have serious anti-bot protection and block most datacenter IPs on sight. Amazon at 94%, Google at 86%. Google is the most aggressive with SERP scraping, 86% with no retries or fingerprint rotation is a solid number.

Craigslist response time is slow (6.5s) but that's Craigslist being Craigslist. 100% success though.

**What we offer**

Residential proxies, billed by traffic. HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5, and UDP support.

UDP is something most providers don't do on residential. If you run tools that need UDP (game bots, VoIP, DNS lookups, some P2P protocols), this works out of the box. Same residential IPs, same geo-targeting, just over UDP instead of TCP.

Also available: sticky sessions (same IP for a set period), datacenter IPv4 shared/dedicated, Shadowsocks proxies for environments where standard proxy protocols get blocked.

**Protocols:**

- HTTP / HTTPS
- SOCKS5
- UDP (residential)
- Shadowsocks

We just opened the mobile pool on Geekproxy. Datacenter, IPv4 and residentials have been running for a while — mobile is now live on the same dashboard and billing.

What you get

Real carrier-issued mobile IPs across 190 countries. I ran a 500-request stress test on the pool before launch — 97.5% success rate, 15 different carriers picked up in a single sticky session (Verizon, Vodafone Qatar, Orange, Bharti Airtel, Mobily, Zain, Telkom SA, Ooredoo, Grameenphone, Fastweb and others), 100% of IPs flagged mobile=true on ip-api. Headers are fully clean — no X-Forwarded-For, no Via — elite anonymity.

Good fit for: ad verification, mobile-only flow scraping, account ferming where you need a carrier IP that doesn't read as residential or DC, antidetect work, sneaker tasks, social automation.

Tech

HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5, plus UDP(by request). UDP on mobile is rare — most mobile proxy providers ship TCP only.
Sticky sessions up to 120 minutes. 2000 concurrent threads on one account.
Country and city targeting across the 190 countries.
Default destination ports: 80, 443, 53, 853, 5060, 5228, 8080, 8090, 8443. Restricted ports like SMTP, SSH, RDP can be opened on request with a use-case.

Pricing

1 GB — $4
5 GB — $20
15 GB — $50
30 GB — $90
50 GB — $145
100 GB — $275

Launch promo: MOBILE_LAUNCH (valid through May 31)

After buying any pack from 5 GB and up, drop the code MOBILE_LAUNCH in the site chat or our Telegram support before May 31, and we'll credit bonus traffic on top of your balance:

5 GB +2 GB bonus (7 GB total)
15 GB +4 GB bonus (19 GB total)
30 GB +8 GB bonus (38 GB total)
50 GB +15 GB bonus (65 GB total)
100 GB +30 GB bonus (130 GB total)

With the bonus, the 100 GB pack effectively comes out to $2.12 per delivered GB.

Most "best residential proxy 2026" lists are affiliate trash.
We wrote a real benchmark and ran it against our own pool.
No hand-picked metrics, the script is open source so anyone can re-run it on us or on any competitor.

TL;DR

- 69/69 countries return a usable residential IP (including China — `cr.cn` works on port 823)
- 92% match rate on US state targeting (`state.california`, all 50 states)
- 83% city match (`city.berlin` etc.) on consensus of 3 free geo APIs; country always lands
- 91% ISP/ASN match — you can pin Comcast, AT&T, BT, Vodafone etc.
- 100% unique /16 subnets in the Brazil pool across 34 rotating requests, no repeats at any subnet level
- 497 of 500 sampled US IPs flagged as clean by proxycheck.io (99.4%)
- Real Chrome through proxy loaded IG, TikTok, LinkedIn company pages, Steam Store with zero challenge

Why it matters for your use case

- Sneaker drops, scalping, Walmart deals — `state.X` precision matters
- IG / TikTok / LinkedIn farming — browser layer works, screenshots in the post
- Multi-account at scale — `noasn.X` to exclude mobile / datacenter ASNs from your sample
- Need to skip CN/RU bans — `nocr.cn` excludes a country, free param

Stack used in the bench

- Python async (httpx + curl_cffi for TLS fingerprint)
- nodriver for the browser layer (undetected-chromedriver successor)
- A 60-line local CONNECT relay so Chrome can talk to a proxy that needs auth — Chrome can't take 'user: pass@host' inline

RESIDENTIAL TURBO PROXY

What that actually unlocks:

• Mail / SMTP. Ports 25, 465, 587 work, so email tooling and warmup run over residential IPs
• UDP. Built in on the SOCKS5 port, for tools and protocols that need UDP, not just TCP.
• Gaming and custom apps. Anything on a non-standard port connects, no "this port is blocked" surprise.
• Full destination access

Passed Imperva + DataDome on a live double-stacked target with our residential proxy

Update for anyone stuck on Imperva or DataDome walls.

We pointed our residential proxy pool at one of the biggest TCG and collectibles stores in the US. That target stacks both systems on top of each other, Imperva with the reese84 sensor and an hCaptcha interstitial, and DataDome on the data responses. Full catalog with live prices came out clean into CSV.

A few things from the run that might save you time. IP reputation was not the thing that blocked us, every session behaved the same, so rotating harder changes nothing. What decides pass or fail is the browser fingerprint and the current mode of the site. The setup that works runs in two stages. A real Firefox based stealth browser passes both layers once and mints the cookies, then a lightweight HTTP client replays those cookies over the same sticky IP for the bulk pulls.

The part most people miss is the fingerprint match on the fast client. Mint the session with Firefox, replay as Firefox. Put a Chrome fingerprint on that second stage and DataDome hands you a 403 right away, because it ties the cookie to the TLS fingerprint.

Here is where the proxy actually matters. The stealth browser only passes stage one quietly when the IP behind it looks like a real home connection with clean history. Cheap datacenter or recycled residential IPs get scored as suspicious before the browser even finishes loading, and then you sit on the captcha no matter how good your automation is. A proper residential pool with real ISP addresses and a sticky session that does not rotate under you is the difference between a silent pass and an endless hCaptcha loop. That is the part you cannot script your way around.

Our residential proxy is what gets stage one through quietly while the site is in scoring mode, and the sticky IP holds long enough to finish the batch. US and other geos, sticky sessions that run on HTTP and SOCKS5.

What we offer:

- Residential Turbo - no port blocking, UDP open by default:
https://geekproxy.io/residential-proxy/turbo

- Residential Flex - strict geo-filtering, UDP available upon request:
https://geekproxy.io/residential-proxy/flex

- Mobile proxies

How one team scrapes 120 IG accounts twice a day

A team we work with pulls posts and stories from a large pool of Instagram accounts on a schedule, and they walked us through how it's set up on our infra.

What they're doing
Every 12 hours they run through 120 accounts.
One run gives them 700+ posts and around 350 stories.
They hit the private APIs /api/v1/feed/user/ and /api/v1/feed/reels_media/, and pull images from IG-CDN in a separate stream. Bandwidth lands somewhere in the 500-800 MB range per run, most of that is images.

Why they split the pool into 28 session-ids
Our packages let you spin up a bunch of unique sticky sessions under one billing account. They grabbed 28 - one per warmup IG account they run.

Here's what that buys them:
- Each warmup goes out from its own "cell". IG sees 28 separate mobile users instead of one bouncing across the country. A 30-minute sticky window is long enough to finish a chunk of requests on one IP, but short enough that IG can't really build a behavioral profile off it.

- When one exit-IP catches a rate-limit, it's just that warmup that's affected — the other 27 keep going. They turned that into a failover: targets from the dead account get reassigned to another one with a fresh IP.

- Scaling stays boring. When they want to add 50 more accounts, they ask for 50 more session-ids. Nothing changes in the code.

Things worth stealing from their setup
One account, one sticky session for its whole life. Feed different IPs into a single logical thread and IG sees the mismatch, drops the session.

Match sticky window length to your working cycle. Shorter than the cycle and it snaps mid-work. Much longer and behavioral patterns start showing up. 30 minutes worked for them, but for someone else it might be 15 or 60.

Images from IG-CDN have to go through the same exit-IP as the API. IG-CDN checks who opened the feed in the first place - different IP and you're getting a 403.

What do we offer:
- Residential Turbo - we do not block any ports; UDP is open by default:
https://geekproxy.io/residential-proxy/turbo

- Residential Flex - deep geo-filtering, UDP on demand:
https://geekproxy.io/residential-proxy/flex

- Mobile proxy
https://geekproxy.io/mobile-proxy
